A Tip for all the smelly folks out there:

If you dig 18” to 2 foot hole in the desert, the sand becomes moist and you can actually use a handful of it to scrub off all the soot, dirt, dust, (and in my case, bike grease) off your arms and legs. A make-shift sponge bath!
I wouldn’t recommend washing your face this way. Sand, just like soap, stings if you get it in your eyes. :)
